'Devon Swell' Oil Painting

This oil painting is a recount of an awe inspiring evening at a local Devon beach. The wind was cold but the waves looked alluring yet ferocious arriving from a huge storm somewhere out to sea, the offshore spray caught the sunlight creating a beautiful glow. The drama and beauty came together in this mystical scene, I really had to try and re-create the feeling and atmosphere in this painting. It is 41.7 x 29.4cm in size, oil on canvas, unframed.
